The ServiceNow Business Process Consultant will partner with Product Owners to ensure we are fully utilizing the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. The consultant will work to provide information regarding current features within the ServiceNow platform, how they should be utilized and adopted and how to ensure our processes are aligned accordingly. This role will understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Responsibilities

The ServiceNow Business Process Consultant will partner with Product Owners to ensure we are fully utilizing the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform. The consultant will work to provide information regarding current features within the ServiceNow platform, how they should be utilized and adopted and how to ensure our processes are aligned accordingly. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding of key capabilities within ServiceNow and how they support applicable processes.

Design, develop and present feature workshops based on ServiceNow upgrades and releases.

Work with the Development Team, Platform Team and Product Owners to create requirements for upgrades of the ServiceNow platform.

Guide Product Owners on best utilization of ServiceNow capabilities.

Provide consulting on how to solve for requests of new/updated capabilities via Demand Intake.

Where appropriate, work with the ServiceNow development/platform team for upgrade planning, release and capability impact on the platform.

Participate in all Platform level activities for maintenance and support of the ServiceNow platform, to include new releases, upgrades, etc.

Partner with Product Owners in development of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) to measure operational performance and value driven by the ServiceNow applications.

Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with the ServiceNow, performing business analysis, providing recommendations for improvements, coordinating with customers on requirements, business services, measuring value, and implementation.

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience.

Experience in facilitating feature sessions

Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders with varying levels of exposure to ServiceNow, such as senior leadership team, and department heads, etc.

Communicates with positive impact: excellent leadership, business partnership, negotiation, etc.

Poise and ability to act calmly and competently in high-pressure, high-stress situations.

Ability to strategically impact operations and effect change without being confrontational.

Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.

Ability to work independently and with others.

Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
