The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications for CarePlus' Provider Configuration and Load team. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Job Description
The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation.
Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
Develops, implements and follows established guidelines/procedures.
This associate will serve on a committee to review provider contract submissions prior to approval for loading into the CarePlus platform.
This associate will also work closely with our code and fee table vendors to coordinate loading and testing of quarterly updates.
This associate will serve as our IT liaison and work closely with the Senior Business Intelligence Engineer and Senior Business Systems Analysis Professionals on the Provider Configuration and Load Team.
Required Qualifications
Intermediate computer skills in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Intermediate knowledge of Access and ability to create tables and queries
Critical thinking skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines
Experience in problem analysis and processes
Work at Home/Remote Requirements- Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings. Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required.
Associates on the team will be required to travel 5% to the office for face-to-face meeting, team engagement, etc.
Traditional 8-5pm business hours, with the option to flex and work any 8-hour timeframe from 6am-9am.
Preferred Qualifications
Problem solving and consultation within complex environments
3-5 years of provider contract/demographic load experience
Knowledge of ICD and CPT/HCPCS coding; Certified Coder
Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
Experience in UAT, qTest, CSC and HRP
Highly organized, focused and detailed
Prior experience working within the healthcare field
Bachelor's Degree
