Role Summary\/Purpose: Position will be within the Operations team for Synchrony Financial (SYF) and will report to the Vice President, Operations. Position is responsible for all aspects of the Resolution Services (RS) Process Support team. Ensure all documentation, operating procedures and job aids for RSare accurate and current. Support Audit, Surveillance, Operational Risk, Compliance and Supervisory Affairs in the reviews of monetary, non-monetary, secure email, indexing and outbound mail processes. Lead team of associates that are processing change controls, job aid updates and process inquiries. Essential Responsibilities: Manage 15 \u2013 20 Resolution Services (RS) Process Support Specialists across two sites. Execute and lead team through process improvements and organizational change. Coach and develop Process Support Specialists to deliver quality RS process support and meet team goals. Manage RS change control process. Ensure change controls and job aid updates are processed in a timely manner and communicated to stakeholders. Partner with RS Process Control team to ensure appropriate controls are in place for RS CTCs that they demonstrate compliant processes and job aids include relevant CTCs. Develop subject matter expertise for RS processes. Partner with RS VPs on processes and process improvements. Partner with Audit, Compliance and Surveillance and deliver required supporting documentation. Perform analysis to validate process changes. Perform cost benefit analysis and develop test plans as required. Support new technology implementations within the RS organization. Liaison to Business Solutions and IT teams. Ensure teams are prepared and ready for process changes. Partner with RS teams to ensure training and documentation is in place before changes are implemented. Influence across organizational boundaries to ensure back office processes are understood. Attend and provide input and feedback on weekly RS Process Calls. May require flexible hours to accommodate projects and meetings. Any applicable RS inquiries or duties as assigned. Perform other duties and\/or special projects as assigned Qualifications\/Requirements: Bachelor\u2019s degree or 5 years equivalent work experience in operations Minimum 3 years Resolution Services experience or equivalent back office process knowledge Minimum 12 months meeting all performance metrics Minimum 12 months team leadership experience Have at least a \u201csatisfactory\u201d performance rating Not be on active formal or final formal corrective action Desired Characteristics: Strong project management skills Excellent written and verbal communications, including\u00a0presentation\u00a0skills and particularly analytical and problem solving skills.\u00a0 Organized in a fast paced team environment with changing priorities.
