The Senior Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Senior Technology Leadership Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Must be hands-on technical who can lead other developers

Humana is seeking a senior technology leader who is smart, curious and loves the challenge of solving problems that help improve people's lives. In this role you will be leading exciting projects related to our Wellness program (Go365) that support solutions using the latest software stacks and cloud technologies. These solutions will provide to business and external users easy access to real-time Wellness data for reporting, analytics and make important wellness recommendations/decisions to the program participants. You will collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team to architect, implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.

The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with multiple IT and business teams to drive products from design completion to production release. Works with architects, developers and business to verify and validate product designs. Involved directly with the costumers to understand business requirement and hands-on implement IT solutions. Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements using latest technology. Leads and guides other developers and testers to drive product implementation to completion. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure

Cloud, SQL, ETL, Event Streaming Technologies

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using StreamSets, Kafka, SSIS, SSRS, .Net

MBA or other Advanced Degree

Demonstrated ability running large scale projects

Experience in project management

SAFe Agile Certified

Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight

Additional Information

Will report to the Associate Director, Technology Solutions, IT - Business Data Analytics

Must be willing to work from Louisville, KY or Irving, TX offices (when Humana deems safe to return to the office post Covid-19)
