Job Description SCOPE: Command Presence Training is a rapidly growing law enforcement training and consulting company headquarter in Brunswick, GA. Our nationally recognized trainers provide contemporary law enforcement training seminars to state, local, and Federal law enforcement agencies throughout the United States. PURPOSE: The Sales Executive will serve as the primary salesperson, under the direction of the CEO, responsible for generating leads and booking training seminars, through outbound phone sales, drip marketing, social media sales, direct mail, and tradeshows. The Sales Executive will also assist seminar hosts in assuring minimum attendance requirements are met. The Sales Executive is empowered to think differently about engaging the unique law enforcement target audience. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS (COVER LETTER REQUIRED) EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must have verifiable high activity sales experience to include lead generation, outbound phone calls, contact management (CRMs), pipeline management, and lead conversion. Has excelled in a commissioned based sales environment meeting or exceeding quota 80% of the time Has a proven history of earning $60,000 annually in commissioned based sales Must be used to dealing with fast-paced Type A executives/owners. Thrives in working well under pressure and heavy deadlines; doesnt let details fall between the cracks Organized with ability to handle multiple priorities at once - not flustered by a change of priorities, schedule or tasks at a moments notice, yet is able to prioritize immediate needs and tasks recently assigned along with regularly expected duties Can-do, proactive and positive whatever-it-takes attitude and can anticipate needs (long-term and short-term) and acts to creatively address them IDEAL CANDIDATE : Has prior experience selling training seminars Has ownership mentality and approaches sales as an owner would College degree preferred but not required Law enforcement training background preferred, but not requireD Ability to travel periodically to training events and trade shows (6-9 times a year) Welcomes feedback, enjoys learning and seeks to grow professionally and personally. Is comfortable giving feedback and sharing opinions Committed to building the company for short-term and long-term growth SUMMARY: This is a long-term, primarily work-from-home position. The ideal candidate is experienced in lead generation and selling training seminars primarily through outbound phone sales supplemented by drip marketing, social media, direct mail and tradeshows. Candidate must be forward thinking, self-motivated, and extremely organized, yet able to adjust in a high-response environment without getting flustered. The right person thrives in a high activity, high rejection sales environment. Candidate must be comfortable with making the decisions they think are right, starting things that need to be started, and asking for help whenever wanted. A system of follow-up is critical to make sure that information from prospects, clients, and host agencies are received in a timely manner. Experience with DropBox, HubSpot CRM, pipeline management, and outbound sales strategies is extremely important. POSITION DESCRIPTION: This person will start as full time (minimum 40 hours/wk.) with the opportunity of moving to a Sales Director position. We are seeking someone who wants to grow with the company over the long term. This person could eventually become the Vice President of Sales for our rapidly expanding company. The right candidate will be a salaried W-2 employee with the flexibility for adjustable work hours. However, the ideal person has few limitations in work hour restrictions (working several time zones, day & evening, possible responses needed during the weekend). Individual works primarily from home and must have a smart phone, reliable high-speed internet, laptop or PC and printer. Some meetings would be done at the Command Presence home office, so close proximity to the Southeast Georgia/ Northeast Florida would be ideal. Some travel to tradeshows and training events will also be required (travel expenses covered). RESPONSIBILITIES: Training & Speaking Events: Identify law enforcement agency training needs and propose training services to fulfill those needs. Identify agencies willing to host training seminars that fill to capacity. Actively identify seminar participants through direct phone contact, email sales, and social media. Sales process: Creating innovative sales strategies to engage law enforcement professionals. Data Management: Update CRM with new contacts frequently and keep sales pipeline current. Administrative: Draft high-level response emails, keep client/prospect files up to date, handle and respond to CEO and client requests. QUALIFICATIONS: The person must be highly detailed, have excellent grammar, writing, AND communication skills, have superior organization and follow-up skills, and be able to prioritize and multi-task in an often fast-response environment. The ideal candidate must be able to function independently, complete tasks accurately and quickly without getting bogged down, and be comfortable with recommendations from the CEO.
